Funding of the
programme
has been planned in three
ways:

applying
for coring, research stays and workshops funding in the
general
NORPOLAR proposal
supported by MNiSW (DFG/46/2007)
and DFG
(DFG 436 POL 113/0-1);

applying
for detailed laboratory analyses (monitoring, chronology, paleobiology, geochemistry, isotopes) funding in the next
proposals
submitted
separately to national funding agencies;
-
the sediment cores can
also be used by the people involved in the programme in the frame of
their own research projects.
The work
strategy consist of several components. The overall project design is
